Is Porn Sex Realistic?
Question: Is Porn Sex Realistic?
Answer:
A teen writes,
"In porn, I really can't believe when those guys start like... screaming and yelling around. I find it quite funny. It may be because I personally haven't had an orgasm like them...
Is it possible for ANY human being to reach that kind of ecstasy to have the need to scream? Just curious :P"
"Porn" typically refers to depictions of sex or nudity. In real life some people make a lot of noise when they have sex and othes don't.
But as with any movie, what you see in most porn is acting and fantasy. Just like porn actors don't usually look like real people, (penises and breasts tend to be a whole lot bigger, body hair tends to be absent, for example), the sex in porn isn't really what sex off camera normally looks or sounds like.
Really, porn isn't typically a reflection of real life and the way most people have sex.
That doesn't mean there's something wrong with you if you enjoy porn. When it comes to porn everyone feels differently. Some are morally opposed. It makes others feel uncomfortable. And a lot of people find it arousing.
Of course, teens need to realize that if they are under 18, it is actually illegal for them to look at porn. Still, plenty of teens will come across porn before this time. If you do, keep in mind that gay and lesbian teens aren't usually the audience that the filmmakers have in mind, and teens in general may not actually be as comfortable with what they see in porn as they expect!
