Celebrities who Meditate

Most of our predicaments in life are centered about getting away from pain or trying to fix other peoples painful experiences or simply solving problems and situations that we have no real control over. This has been the basic rule of thumb for humans for centuries, even more so, with our fast paced modern lifestyle. We all have issues, all a taken as serious by our over imaginative minds. Home, work and social life's have never been more hectic or strained. This is not just for us normal John and Jane Doe's.

Celebrity A-list members have found that by turning away from these moments of crisis, or hiding from self destructive thoughts when they arise, have created untold problems which only compound and solidified their suffering and we Joe Public, are there waiting to gossip and speculate, with this added pressure, the normal day to day pressures are just too great and they flip-off the rails.

Celebrities like Michael Stipe, Orlando Bloom and Madonna found that if they continued living in this unconscious way, resisting life as it happens, or being preoccupied with something that went wrong two hours ago or last year, or might go wrong two hours or two days from now, not only did it make their life more complex than it already was, their immediate family and friends suffered too. Then downward spiral of depression creeps in.

The good news is that the A-list stars above and superstars like Danny Glover, Jessica Alba and Jessica Simpson, found another way to live. And it all starts with just noticing these destructive thoughts and emotions when they arise.

A-list Celebrities like Russell Brand and Tiger Woods also found a solution, so has Will Smith and Richard Gere.

Celeb's like Kylie Minogue, Ruby Wax and Tina Turner are celebrities who meditate, they have discovered that meditation is an easy, natural, and fun spiritual practice which allows the mind and body to settle down to a state of deep, deep calm, and find a natural spaciousness by resting in this meditative awareness.

Mindfulness Meditation used to be viewed in the mainstream as some kind of Buddhist mystical phenomenon practiced by wise old monks on mountain tops, and the famous gurus of India. But it seems meditation has gone through something of a renaissance and is now viewed as a perfectly credible practice by a number of scientific institutions, and recommend by medical doctors as complementary medicine around the world. Solid research continually finds that meditation can keep us healthy; lower blood pressure, reduce anxiety and stress.

Within the A-list celebrities cliques, there is now a beautiful, fix it, don't let it be, attitude that is leading to wonderful results on a personal, physical and mental level. Celebrities like Keanu Reeves, J Lo, Uma Thurman and Jackie Chan don't like fear, anxiety, frustration, and anger anymore. They don't like anything that feels bad.

Using the mindfulness or insight method they experience first-hand pure awareness. They find stillness, with a deep inner experience. From which develops mental alertness and increases creativity and intelligence. Couple this with deep inner rest and the simultaneous development of many neuronal pathways in the brain which in itself has a number of far reaching scientifically-validated benefits for physical and mental health. This simple practice far out ways any therapy sessions or psychiatrist diagnosis cost many thousands.

It was developed by the Buddha 2500 years ago and has been taken to a new level by the celebrated modern day experts like Jon Kabat-Zinn, who is an internationally known as a meditation teacher, author, researcher, and clinician in the fields of mind body and spirit medicine. He is an expert in stress reduction, relaxation, and the applications of mindfulness meditation in everyday living. His techniques are not unique though, he just has the skill to deliver them in a way so as to optimize one's capacity to face stress and pain. But how did the practice of Mindfulness meditation take the modern world by storm?

How did the Celebrities, office workers, manual workers, mums and students know what to do when the going gets tough...?

...That's right they meditate pure and simple.

There is no book published on mindfulness meditation that get right to the core of the subject in its purest form, in simple plain speaking prose the book will take you on a journey of self-discovery like no other method hyped around the internet today and that is
